Why Epcot International Festival of the Arts is the BEST Epcot Festival

Happy #TravelTuesday adventurers!!
Where have you been exploring lately?
Link up at the bottom of this post and let's travel together!

Most of my travel posts are going to be getting a lot more ear-shapped this year, now that we have Disney World Annual Passes. We've been a handful of times in the last month and most of them have been spent at Epcot and that's all thanks to Epcot's International Festival of the Arts!! This is the third year that this specific festival has been hosted, but it's our first time attending and I must say I think it might be my favorite!

If you had asked me before I attended I would have told you it was the Flower and Garden Festival (I prefer to spring food choices in comparison to Food and Wine), but I think the International Festival of the Arts just might have it beat and here's why:

Reasons Epcot's International Festival of the Arts is the Best Epcot Festival

Interactive Exhibits
I honestly think the interactive art exhibits is the main reason Festival of the Arts beats out the other Epcot Festivals in my opinion. I love the paint-by-number art wall! It makes you feel like you are truly apart of the Disney experience. The interactive photo spots are also so much fun! We have only done one so far, but plan to make a another visit before the festival ends so that we can hit up a few more.

Artfully Prepared Food
All of the Epcot festivals offer a delicious selection of food and they are all beautifully plated; however, the International Festival of the Arts plates in such a way that seems to turn your food into a work of art. Some of them look so pretty you almost don't want to eat it and mess it up; almost! We've tried a handful of plates, but so far these three take the cake for us:

Sous Vide Poulet Rouge Chicken Roulade: found at Pop Eats (World Showcase Plaza)
Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib: found at Cuisine Classique (Germany)
Costine di Maiale Aceto Balsamico: Sweet & Sour Balsamic-glazed Pork Ribs (Italy)

An Opportunity to Play with your Food
We actually haven't snagged this item yet, but one of the most pictured items around Epcot during the International Festival of the Arts is the Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie. This thing is not only huge, but also looks like so much fun! We have been waiting until we have my niece with us to enjoy this treat, but essentially it is a sharable (kudos to you if you can finish is solo) chocolate chip cookie shaped like an artist palette. Three different squirts of colored frosting work as the paint and you are given a paintbrush so that you can create your own edible artwork!

The Chance to Watch Artists at Work
Throughout each day there are tons of chances to find artists at work. They are painting, drawing, doing aerial arts... my favorite is watching the chalk artists. It's fascinating to me that they spend so much time creating a beautiful chalk masterpiece only to have it wash away when the rains come or they have to sweep the park. To me that is the highest form of devotion and love for the process itself!

~On the 2nd Tuesday of every month I will be sharing a new travel post and would love to see where you have been exploring!
~Any linked posts will be pinned under Travel Tuesday on my Pinterest account.
~Please leave a little love on the post directly before yours and then anywhere else you like! That way we can all grow this community together :)
~Not many other rules, as I am not a huge fan of those sorts of things! Just add any travel related link and I encourage you to peek around and see where everyone else has been.
~Feel free to grab the image from the sidebar and add it to your post so others know where to link up.
~I will also be featuring my favorite post from the month before and sharing across social media. This month's feature is from Little Tranquility. Her trip to Qatar looks like such a unique, immersive and culture experience! It would probably put me a little outside of my comfort zone, but I love the idea of going somewhere you wouldn't typically plan to.

  1. I've never been to Epcot - though I did go to Disneyland for the first time last year. I love that they made the festival so interactive! I especially love contributing to a larger pixel painting.

  11. The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is a vibrant celebration of creativity and inspiration, just like the products ofKids Art Supplies. Encouraging young artists to express themselves through a wide range of art supplies can enhance their creativity and passion for the arts. Their high-quality materials are perfect for kids who want to explore different artistic techniques, much like the diverse array of art forms showcased at the festival.
